I was graduated with a BA from the California College of the Arts in Oakland and taught art at the middle school
level for five years.
Moving to Colorado, I became a plein aire watercolorist and, later, began experimenting with abstract forms using acrylics which I found to be more flexible in the painting process.
Studying collage with Gerald Brommer resulted in the combination of acrylic and collage, which has been my signature style for the past twenty years. I am a signature member of the Colorado Watercolor Society and the Northern Arizona Watercolor Society.
