Lorraine began to paint watercolors in 1987 when she retired as a college professor and administrator. She holds degrees in Education from New York University and
Arizona State University.
Exploration in watercolor captivated her imagination and filled a life long need for a creative outlet. Use of collage and strong design with watercolor, gouache and acrylics allows the artist to diversify presentations of subject matter which include florals, landscapes, seascapes and southwest motifs. After many years in New York and California, Lorraine has made Sedona Arizona her home... Her paintings are in homes throughout the United States, Europe, Japan and Australia.
