A graduate of the University of Denver, Janis Mock-Jones spent many years experimenting with various art media and techniques. In 2003 she seized an opportunity to become a full time artist in Sedona.
"The dynamic artist community in Sedona challenges me to strive for new and unique ideas to incorporate into my work."
Ms. Mock-Jones works primarily in acrylics on canvas, panels and watercolor paper & canvas. She is also participating in "Javelinas on Parade", the Sedona public art project . Her "Camouflaged-elinas" are installed at the Verde Valley Sanctuary store next to Coffee Pot Restaurant.
