After untold years between winning the Cinnamon Bear coloring contest as a child in Portland, OR, where she was born and raised…until adult retirement from the San Francisco advertising and broadcasting industry in 1987, Susan has once again let her artistic wings soar.
Living in Sedona since 1999, she is a juried member of the Northern Arizona Watercolor Society and has participated in numerous workshops conducted by nationally-known watercolor artists, such as Tom Lynch, Judy Morris, Frank Webb, Don Andrews, Jan Kunz and Betty Carr.
Susan’s artwork represents her view of the world as she sees it. She strives to bring to each painting her joyful, emotional reaction to the subject matter, whether animal life or landscapes, which she hopes will resonate with those who view her work.
