Jan was born in Long Beach, California and studied art at Long Beach City College. Since taking early retirement in 1994 and moving to Camp Verde, Arizona, she has studied with Betty Carr, Susan Faust and George Norman all of whom instilled in her a passion for painting in watercolors and pastels...
"I love lots and lots of color, also the play of sunshine on subjects".
Jan is a member of the Sedona Arts Center, the Northern Arizona Watercolor Society and says "Retirement is perfect!"
