After careers in physical therapy and as a retail plant nursery owner, I moved to Sedona where I discovered a love of painting.
Watercolor intrigues me, as it has a mind of its own. It is a real challenge to get the medium to do what one wants. Frequently, it does something totally unexpected, leading to what are called 'happy accidents'.
My first love is painting pets and people. I love being able to capture the essence of the pet or person, especially in the eyes, as they are the windows to the soul.
