Judy Jaaskelainen resides in northern Arizona and is an award winning, Juried Member of Northern Arizona Watercolor Society. She is also an award winning member of Arizona Watercolor Association, a member of Watercolor West and National Watercolor Society.
Judy says, "I believe I paint to express my excitement at being present."
Ms. Jaaskelainen paints a variety of subjects. She says, "I have several on-going series that I continue to add to, including Portraits, Landscapes, Still Life, Animals (large and small), Southwest and Native American Themes, Hands and Feet, Musicians and other Performers, Cactus, Political Passions, Jerome Architecture and Jerome Characters, Old Town Cottonwood, Clarkdale Charm, Booze and Tattoos, Abstracts and Images of Women: Toddlers to Crones.
